This is my first weigh in post for a good long while. Progress has slowed, but is still in the right direction. My hope was to be about 20 pounds lower than my current weight, but a few vacations in a row towards the end of the summer derailed me a little bit. Lots of eating at restaurants and snack type foods will do that to you.
But it’s okay, my progress is still there and I am not repeating my past history of losing weight and then gaining it right back. The old me would have been discouraged by this slower progress and gone back to old habits. Not this time though.
I know my change in lifestyle and how I eat, as well as cutting soda and limiting my sugar intake is working and has gotten me on the right track. So I am going to keep doing it. It also doesn’t hurt to see the amazing progress my wife has made using the keto diet and intermittent fasting. She has gone from being my fellow foodie in crime to being quite the inspiration. So thank you Jaime! Love you!
